I've always liked driving through Amsterdam, especially in the summer, and seeing all the green farm fields around this Mohawk Valley County.

I've always found that old Adirondack Power and Light plant, along with Lock 11 along NY 5 to be quite interesting.
Heading Into the Mohawk Valley on the Thruway
Cloudy day, heading down into the Mohawk Valley past Exit 29.
Rural Grove Area
Heading out from Sprakers up to Rural Grove along one of the loneliest roads in the Mohawk Valley, namely NY 162. Farm country, some amish but a lot of traditional dairy and abandoned farm land.
