I couldn't remember if I had got a picture of these old growth trees from the previous visit here, but they have to some of the most massive trees I've ever seen in the Adirondacks.

Campfire
While the pile of wood at the campsite at the East Branch Sacandaga River left over from the hunters last fall is getting smaller and lower grade with more chipboard mixed in, still plenty of stuff to burn and enjoy up in the woods.

Not a lot of water for spring, though the water levels can fluctuate a lot in. I've seen it overflowing the banks some times, and other times the river is mostly rock with a trickle of water. The main branch and the west branch have much more consistent water flow levels.
